The first Ropa Rack was built in 2019, in a driveway of an apartment block in Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia. It was built to find a laundry solution to limited space, offered by a small beachside apartment. 

After loads of development (and washing) we have achieved our goal, what began as a personal quest for convenience soon turned into a vision to improve laundry care for all.

One rack was built, and the job was done—or so it seemed. As word of the ingenious solution spread, requests for purchases surged. Suddenly, what began as a personal quest for convenience evolved into a mission to save you time, money, space and the planet.

So here we are, a pandemic and lots of engineering and prototyping later and the project has come to life, and The Ropa Rack is born.
